Well...i can tell you....MD were axctually a fantastic business.

They started re-selling Telstra 64k ( and then 128k etc ) ISDN lines to companies who previously had been operating on modems or the internet. They also then pioneered using all the existing copper to run even faster internet around the CBDs.

I believe Jason Ashton got about $50m for the business when Davne bought it. Under 30 at the time.

I was selling those connections and also registering domain names....god......i remember registering names like www.interiors.com.au / www.sales.com.au / www.wine.com.au i remember they were about $100 a pop from memory.

If only i had known ! LOL
