Sat. a.m. 27/6/20. Overseas stocks fall overnight.

In Australia yesterday:

XJO up strongly +1.49%, but that only partially recovered the big falls on Thursday.

I've got a lot of trend defining oscillators and indicators on this chart. The least cluttered one is the bottom panel. This is a long-term Stochastic Oscillator (50/10/10). When the histogram is above the dotted line, the trend is up. When the histogram is below the dotted line, the trend is down.

When the histogram is above the dotted line, take "buy" signals. When the histogram is below the dotted line, take "sell" signals.

With the histogram below the dotted line, we are currently in a "sell" state.

Overnight:

Dow Jones -2.84%. SP500 -2.42%. Nasdaq -2.59%. Small caps -2.87%. Banks -6.44%.

Europe was down but not nearly as much as the American indices. European Stoxx600 -0.39%.

SP500:

The SP500 has nudged below the 200-Day MA. Unless this recovers quickly, we will see much lower prices.

The chart's indicators remain bearish.

Commodities Index -1.23%. Base Metals +0.15%. Energy -2.37%. Gold +0.45%.

Unless manna rains from the heavens this weekend, Australia looks likely to have a very poor session on Monday led down by the banks.
