The first, minor fulfilment happened within that generation and marked the destruction of the temple and Jewish system of worship. The ride of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, for instance, harmonise with Jesus' words recorded at Mathew ch 24, Luke ch21 and mark ch 13.
