I have a question for you about the King James Version translation of Matthew 5:16: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
Why is the word "which" used instead of "who" there? "Which" is usually used for a thing or things and not for a living subject. Is it because "your Father" is WORD which a thing?
Please explain to me. Thanks.
