watching Money of Mine's latest contribution with an interview with an anonymous M&A specialist 'the Koala', who is still conflating LTR with AZS.

His basic premise is that the mega miners and consortiums are locking up projects and - implicitly - the upside won't be available for the ordinary punter so stay away when you see blockers coming in. this is what many retail AZS holders did, they sold out for $3.50 and ran.

He says that holders with blocking votes like Gina decide what order the projects are dealt with.

Koala and the discussion panel seem to be saying major holders simply carving up the resource and decisions made not on what benefits shareholders.

What people are afraid of with LTR precedent is a mine languishing and the SP dropping and no way out because the shares are no longer very liquid and no triggers for upside.

Koala is also saying that whatever happens all roads on Li lead to China.* Also that projects with processing onsite like the Chinese are now doing with huge Cu projects in the Congo, mean shipping 100% of the Cu instead of concentrate, is hugely economic.
Underground projects are very expensive and difficult.

If it becomes open cut it will be amazing. So far it's going deeper but if there's enough there it could turn on its head, this is still early days. Incredible but true.
By extension the more that Andover becomes part of a critical metals development hub the more it looks solid. Obvious but sometimes the obvious gets overlooked in the fear mania.

He is saying that it's different with a mega project because that will of course be developed first.

Q: So the crucial thing is how big is Andover?
A: Massive and getting more massive. A monster and a bigger monster.

I don't know if we're brave or stupid to hang on, but unpicking the logic of the Koala is difficult because he's got such a wide ranging perspective but isn't necessarily highly educated about the specifics of Andover and AZS.
Becoming a monster high quality resource should mean fast tracking of the project.
As the facts build, it makes no sense to assume Andover will be mothballed or necessarily suffer a slow-down.

The latest pegmatite images from Andover are dazzling. We just need the news to keep flowing.

As lawyers say, everything turns on the facts.

I remain pretty happy with the unfolding story with AZS as it emerges into a behemoth.

JIMO interested if anyone has a different interpretation.

*[This seems to be confirmed with the US and China having high level meetings recently over security issues, the deteriorating situation in Gaza/Israel and implications for flashpoints elsewhere. The premise is that the US and China are trying to manage these flashpoints as trade and economic instability is the last thing they need. So there seems to be a carve up where China has asserted dominance over battery space and the US over microchips but this is guesswork.]
