I find it a bit amusing with all the developments in space connectivity,AI,machine learning,6g,laser connectivity/weapons Airbus selects 'Skynet' as the name for their new satellite network. Maybe the French didn't watch the terminator movies as in skynet,judgement day etc .? Aibus sends up just one satellite at a value of $700m euros,they have give or take 20 satellites in the meo sector with approx 6 on order and want access to the western meo sector. Surely the easiest avenue for eos to get their approx $50m back would be to negotiate with the FCC to cancel the spectrum agreement and re allocate to co's like Airbus,Boeing,Lockheed Martin,L3harris etc. Obviously the above primes are making preparations to develop the western meo sector but eos is standing in the way. This is my understanding. ps $50m is now chicken feed for this spectrum especially when u clearly have above primes ready to develop the meo sector. But eos sits on its butt and as each month goes by their negotiating power is weakened because the use by date comes closer ie june 2024. My guess relay and other types of meo satellites are being designed/developed by above primes ready for deployment as soon as eos gets out of the way. As posted due to aukus eos no longer needs spacelink not to mention they can't aford it.
