A competitive betting race opens Saturday's Belmont meeting with three runners heavily in the market attracting early money.
Verdello Blue, Ask Me Nicely and State Form are currently jostling for favouritism in the Festival of Perth Racing Tickets on Sale Handicap (2100m) and have been the only runners backed in the race.
State Form remains a slender favourite at $3.50 whilst Verdello Blue and Ask Me Nicely have each firmed from $4.80 into $4.
Later in the program, Testamezzo has been well backed to win the Stef Mangan Racey Ladies Handicap (1000m) and has subsequently firmed from $6 into $4.60.
Testamezzo will be aiming for three victories from as many starts after a brace of wins earlier this year.
