Centro class action

Business Week In Review: A class action has been brought against the troubled Centro Properties Group.

Maurice Blackburn will represent the applicant, Richard Kirby, in a case that will be heard before the Federal Court in Melbourne.

Centro has not released details of the claim against it, but said it will vigorously defend itself.

Last week, Centro was granted a seven month reprieve in billions of dollars of debt that was originally due to be repaid months ago.
