I owned & trained a dog once called BURNDALE we backed it from 25/1 into about 2/1 & Geelong one night there was about 20 bookies I remember one bookie saying to me has this grown a leg son I asked him for another $500 on it he nearly dropped dead. Missed the start nearly fell ran 5th was in again the following Saturday at Ballarat the best they bet was 5/1 we backed it into 4/6 straight to the front and bolted in we got our biscuits back from Geelong but if had won at Geelong they would be still paying us.
