BTC CupTIP – YOUR SONG (Eagle Farm – Race 7 No. 8): At the odds you've got to be backing this bloke. We've taken a line through Epaulette, who comfortably beat Rain Affair and Sea Siren home in The T J Smith. Your Song and Epaulette raced each other twice in the spring with each horse getting one verdict over the other. No doubt Epaulette has come back a better but why wouldn't Your Song has too, did you see his trial?! The three-year-olds have dominated weight-for-age sprint races this season and you're getting $12 for that trend to continue here.

GOODWOOD TIP – FACILE TIGRE (Morphettville – Race 7 No. 7): Finished second in the Oakleigh Plate last start and the 77-day break is ideal as he races best fresh. Moment Of Change is the horse to beat but at $7.50 this bloke is an each-way bet to nothing. If he replicates his Oakleigh Plate run he'll be finishing top three for sure and the 4kg off Moment Of Change gives him a hope of toppling the favourite.

STAR BET – SURVIVED (Eagle Farm – Race 5 No. 7): The form around this bloke stood up during the Sydney Carnival when Usainity and Platinum Kingdom won races at Randwick. This bloke beat them both home two starts back then stepped out in open age and ended a three-year-old drought in the Group III Hawke's Bay Cup. We've got him winning this and firming into a shorter quote for the Queensland Derby so we're telling you to take the $2.70 on offer in this.

VALUE BET – VACALLO (Eagle Farm – Races 4 No. 10): Rob Heathcote has got this one going as well as ever and because of that, he gets his chance to break through over the mile. He's finished in the top two at four of his last five starts and the only blemish came when he had genuine excuses. Shops significantly in weight, we don't think this is any, if not, much harder and you're getting double figure odds.

THE ROUGHIE – DEBELLE (Rosehill - Race 3 No.4): Should've finished a lot closer last start and goes back to fillies and mares' grade. She's at her best over the sprints and has drawn perfectly to get a cart into the race. The $26 around town is huge overs and with a clear shot as we're confident she should be running a place.

MONEY TIP – SOMEDAY (Eagle Farm - Race 8 No. 6): He was backed in from $1.70 to $1.50 first-up last preparation in the same class race and if he didn't get poleaxed in the straight he would've won and his record would read 9:6-3-0. He should be progressing to better races than this and looks the winner barring bad luck.

WALLERATHON IN MELBOURNE TIP – FULGUR (Caulfield - Race 7 No. 9): The Chris Waller stable has been having a field day since he set up him Flemington stables and this bloke's two Australian runs have been great. We concede the switch from Flemington to Caulfield with the rail out 14 metres isn't ideal but we reckon third-up from a spell he can settle closer in the run and that'll offset the problem. This isn't any harder than his last start.

$50 QUADDIE STRATEGY – EAGLE FARM: The two Kiwi's look the goods in the opening leg but we've thrown in a roughie with a bit of upside. Confident we'll get the second leg with our five selections but the BTC Cup is hard to narrow down. Bringing home a bit wide despite being keen on Someday. A $50 investment will yield 12.5 percent of the dividend if successful.

3rd leg: 1, 2, 7, 8
4th leg: 2, 6, 7, 11, 16

$50 QUADDIE STRATEGY – ROSEHILL: Bit hard to break it down for you in Sydney this week but we've basically taken a roughie or two in each leg as we're tipping one of them will lob and provide a healthy dividend. A $50 investment will return 8.33 per cent of the dividend if successful.
