A former neighbour used to run an ASX listed explorer. He was always off attending these type of conferences. After to getting to know him a little better i concluded his attendance at these things was for little other reason than getting a free trip away. All at shareholders expense.
If a company has good prospects the smart money already knows. Those people don't need to watch a power point presentation at a conference.These presentations are just for the retail crowd.
