They can produce the stuff for $4 a barrel the problem Saudi have is welfare costs, debt and the people pay no tax. so they need the extra funds to pay for the goodies.
You can bet tat Iran will revel in seeing Saudi struggle.
At least Iran has a more diverse economy and agricultural sector.
