There are certainly groups within Saudi who will fund all forms of extremism - bin Laden after all is a rich Saudi - but the position of the Saudi Royal Family has been 100% to go hajjing (waltzing matilda) with the USA, while opposing the state of Israel. Schitzophrenia - but that has been the way of many Arab leaders for a very long time and why the fundamentalists look to have so much more integrity to many Muslims.
