A theoretical physicist once told me ...
The answer to global warming would be to create a screen of fine particles high in the atmosphere.
Sand particles would be suitable.
To achieve that we'd need to detonate a significant number of nuclear devices.
Now ... where is all the sand? Ah, that's right, the Middle East.
Actually that scenario would clean up a fair chunk of the world's oil infrastructure too.
The phrase kill two birds with one stone springs to mind.
Only joking.
