When battery day was originally planned for April 2020, Pr Dahn presented the battery chemistry that will go into the Tesla multi million mile battery. I think it was UBC from memory.
I watched this video twice before it was deleted and it dies infact show charts with 5300 cycles and only 3% capacity loss. If you do the calcs 400mile range battery x 5300 cycles = 2,120,000 miles. At 8,000 cycles thats 3.2million miles...
EV batteries work perfectly until they fall down to 80% capacity or 20% loss.
We will find out soon enough if this battery last 2-3.2million miles or 30-40yrs on the Grid and where Novonix sits in this incredible battery story!
