Turkey was never a good Nato fit, only there on false promises all round and to avoid it becoming a Soviet ally, communist party in Turkey is only real threat to Erdogan but somehow Erdogan needs S400 and new Russia pipeline. US are no angels either but each new president is less experienced than the career presidents and the world power and economic balances are changing as a result and a lot of that is fed by US largesse and complacency and tiredness of being world policeman.
