I think that we have been presented with a once in a decade (or maybe once in a generation) opportunity to buy quality stocks at unbelievable prices - not just BPT, but other quality oil and gas co's with relatively low debt (WPL, STO, SXY, CVN etc), as well as a hot of other quality stocks selling for absolutely crazy prices. Corona virus (and its affects) will pass, just like the countless other crises have passed over the millennia. Unfortunately, most punters are fully invested so don't have any extra funds to put into stocks. I managed to resurrect my old margin loan facility (that nearly sent me broke in the GFC LOL) and have recently bought into a few of the oil/gas plays at very attractive prices. I'm much more selective now, having been badly bitten in the GFC, and I steer clear of co's with significant debt - my mantra is Debt = Danger and I've drummed this into my kids as well. My daughters (in their early 20's) are in the fortunate position of having cash in the bank and they both made their first ever share investments today...hopefully it will work out well for them, I think it will and as I said to them they are very lucky, they have cash and are able to take advantage of a once in a generation buying opportunity.......
