Just got back from Thailand and read an article in the Bangkok Post last week. An elderly Thai man was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment for les majeste. He was accused of sending insulting comments about the royal family by sms to someone else. His defence was that while he admitted owning the mobile phone, he claimed he had no idea how to sms. The judges decided that since it was his phone, he must have done it.
True story. And the moral of this story is when in Thailand don't lose or loan your mobile phone.
