    Redflow (Zn/Br) flow battery is 10kw and cheaper. it doesn't require serious mining for its component parts and is entirely recyclable. even the liquid can be reused and is non-toxic.

    the key problem though is one needs 2 batteries as each shuts down at the end of every cycle to reset. I'd imagine it to be the same with the Vanadium tech
