If my memory serves me right - Approx. 5 years ago I could buy a pack of sausages for $ 4.99, sometimes discounted to $3.99 or $ 3.49.
Now 5 years later normal price $ 7.99, discounted to $5.99, rarely lower!
Well in years the XAO index has gone from 4,100 to today's close of 5,796 - apart from the discounts it seems the two are not that far apart.
I'm glad sausages aren't tracking from the pre-GFC peak.
5 years ago BUL was $ 0.06, 10 years ago $ 0.365 - either way we are well short of the sausage index - just what will a pipeline do to the SP?
