Savage River is run by a private British company so commercial information tends to be unavailable. The 8Mtpa I mentioned in one of my other posts today are the same order of magnidude as the maximum rates I discussed with VMS management several months ago. The rate is not an indication of VMS'projected mining rates. I expect the actual mining rate will be determined only after extensive feasibility studies although I expect it would be unlikely to be more than 8Mtpa.

I used the 8Mtpa to indicate how much resource could need to be upgraded from "inferred" to "measured" for a large scale mining operation and to demonstrate that Mt Lindsay is expected to have sufficient resources to support this level of development.
