hi caldazer i understand that savage river has recently been purchased by a chinese concern. all the mining at savage river is surface mining, mining plant has been upgraded in recent months it includes 13 789 cat dump trucks 3 hitachi 3600 face shovels 2 tamrock dk 40 blast hole drills and two tamrock top hammer drills and i believe a new cat dozer and grader as well . underground mining at savage river is not feasible
