So the argument is not that the Lynas plant is safe, but that there is human misery and environmental damage attached to other resource industries, so why should they have an issue with Lynas?

Or perhaps you don't think that people can object to having the world’s largest rare earth refinery in their country whilst they are being somewhat hypocritical by being less concerned about the origins of the jewels they buy or sell?

I wonder if wish for the plant to begin processing because the world urgently needs more REE’s, or are placing self interest first? Imagine that!
