This idea of hydrogen is what I was leading to earlier -

I looked at hydrogen before I knew anything about lithium

Comparisons to lithium include –

• Hydrogen is less convenient
• Hydrogen is volatile
• Hydrogen requires physical distribution
• Hydrogen motors requires more servicing attention
• Hydrogen requires more storage/safety requirements

The above points appear to be stationary as significant advancements have not been made.

Lithium may not be without blemish such as the fiasco with the Samsung 7 mobile phone and the odd Tesla going up in smoke however, apparently these examples were based on manufacturing flaws of the batteries.

Some I have seen that have posted anything on hydrogen here may be accused of promoting FUD

As far as Toyota and hydrogen goes, good luck, you'll need it!
