I agree, most people are fairly shallow and hardly think about the cause and effect of their daily lives on the oceans or the other systems that make up the planet.
Individuals don’t make a significant impact on the environment but as a group we do so if enough individuals take a moment to think about a purchase or an action and if it has any effects on the ocean, land or atmosphere it could only be a good thing for everyone.
A Proactive approach makes more sense than a Reactive approach and it is always cheaper to take action so as to not have a problem than fix a problem.
PS A problem halved is only half a problem
