save $$ - residential voip

This may be of interest to some:

Article in Saturday's AFR pg:7 "VoIP could save you $425 a year" As the title suggests it talks about cost cutting with calls through residential VoIP services rather than of traditional services. "There is a website phonechoice.com.au which measures costs of various phone services and found that the average household could save up to $425 a year....Telstra is still trialling residential VoIP....."

I feel that Digital stands to gain from what could potentially be a revolution in residental phone services, especially due to the upcoming alliance with SPT who already have the technology and services up and running. These smaller companies seem to have the jump on the big players like Telstra.

This company has got a big future. Half yearly results due out in February should be great, they paid a dividend last year and they have the alliance with SPT being finalised soon.
