Many years ago I tried to to move some Adelaide based back office jobs to Victoria to increase efficiency. What I did not expect was the fierce backlash to save the Adelaide jobs. In the end Adelaide won.

In talking to other colleagues over the years they all ran into the same fierce opposition with similar outcomes to me.

If the takeover offer from Cosette gets up I fear for the jobs at Salisbury. With a new owner backed by aggressive New York based private equity firms the connections to Salisbury will be very weak.

I would encourage all Mayne Pharma employees based in Salisbury and indeed across Australia to carefully consider what happens under Cosette and whether that is in your best interests.

Your vote on the takeover offer is very important and I encourage you to consider and also get expert legal and financial advice. I encourage everybody to lodge their vote on the takeover offer.

As a shareholder of around 9 years I will be voting no to the current takeover offer.
