So do you believe that Christ's sacrifice was only for the non-believer?

And do you believe that the Holy Spirit does not "indwell" the person who feeds the hungry, provides for the homeless and so on while "indwells" the person who believes and does nothing? I know of several examples of people from both camps so please don't try and tell me it doesn't happen.
