Thanks Dr Peter, what a disaster it has all turned out to be, I was hoping that this Australian invention would be a world beater.

My mother suffered from heart disease, caused through an illness in her childhood, she was one of the first people in Australia to have open heart surgery and have plastic valves fitted, it kept her alive for many years, and I am truly greatful for that!

In a way the Ventracor inventionb lives on in the Heartmate as it is a copy IMHO and I hope it provides some hope to those afflicted with this terrible condition.
