Read with interest all the posts about keeping Australia for Australia and cant help wondering about the wisdom or lack therof of many of the posters. To my way of thinking you simply ignoring reality. We are after all part of a world where borders are merely lines on maps. Our currency, trade, politics, population are closely linked to the world (wide). We travel at the drop of a hat as though there are no borders. We eat and clothe ourselves in other countries food and undies etc..... Again the reality is that we are part of a big picture so that we can enjoy and be part of the action .......or of course we could redefine ourselves and vote for one of the "keep oz to ourslelves type parties". Maybe we should be like Nth Korea or Iran and do the job properly. Of course i am not advocating selling of sensitive infrastuctue or assetts like LYC but to generalise in these matters is quite useless and in come cases inflammatory. Have a gr8 day! Go LYC
