I’m not surprised at all - same is happening all over the Australia - the mob running Australia from Canberra are not interested in listening to the people. Their masters are the unions - that’s who they listen to, and the unions are telling them to approve wind turbines constructed by industry super funds.
Meanwhile industry super funds who pay for and build these “interment unreliable wind turbines” (lucky if they generate electricity 30% of the time), in return receive massive ongoing annual government subsidies, then the industry superfunds contribute to the unions (a thank you for setting up this lerk), in then the unions donate some of this money to the Labor party. Meanwhile the poor old Aussie taxpayer picks up the bill paying the ongoing government subsidies.
It’s all one hell of a rort, because there is nothing green about destroying the natural habitat of native Australian animals to put up these ugly wind turbines.
and where are Adam Banks greens - well they are green in name only - because a “real” Green Party would never willingly allow such destruction to occur.
