Takes me back to a time when I was little and do you remember when radio stations had these phone-in competitions and they'd ask stuff like who is better: the Beatles or the Monkees? I rang in once and said Monkees and I won as caller 5 or something and I couldn't wait to get my Monkees album. They sent me Vanilla Fudge. Vanilla Fudge to a Monkees fan. A totally crap album but I cherished it anyway as the first thing I'd ever won. But I got to hear my voice on the radio, which is why they kept saying, son can you turn your radio down cause I was hearing myself talking to them but a bit delayed. Cool. Here's some real Monkees.
