I've posted before on my ongoing 'uncle' role with an Aboriginal lad.

He's doing fine, and I wish him well. Started year 11 yesterday, while going to TAFE one day a week and also working one day a week.

But the amount of racist crap I have had to enure from the Aboriginal community during the last 7 years has finally done me in. I've had enough.

It's a mess out there and I'm sorry.

I'm sorry I ever got involved. It's far more than I can understand and handle.

Maybe in another 200 years things might be a little better.
