Looking at the weekly and monthly charts going back 5 years I see an argument for a triple bottom. December 2016 $1.67 March 2020 $1.61 and then 2 days ago July 2021 $1.68. Obviously this is an early call but with gold breaking out to the upside I am betting this scenario will play out.
To back up my thesis I would argue that more than all the bad news has been factored into the share price and there have been significant improvements in the company's operations particularly at Gwalia. Simberi should be back online shortly and although Atlantic production forecast has been reduced, I am again betting they will have learned from recent forecasts and have will deliver to the upper end or better.
