re: sbpo Options value explained You're spot on. Anyone buying options should be aware that there is a built-in time value. This value deteriorates, usually slowly with about 15 months ago, then the devaluation accelerates when the time to expiry goes under 12 months. But fear not with SBPO. Steve Carter has stated on more than one occasion that the options will be "in the money" before expiry .i.e.the shares will be over 20c at 30th June 2003. And that's being conservative!!!
