But about your comment above. Why should you lose a wink of sleep because of some random person who (1) was never there (2) is only voicing his (not your) opinion and (3) he's a football reporter (no relevance)?
Do you want him arrested? Do you want to biff him? Do you want to shout at him? Does it really matter to you what he thinks or says?
Are you talking to me? I do not fret nor do I wish to do him harm and you could not find a post where I have done so. I am responding to his defenders who say he has a right to say what he likes and not lose his job. If the left can find outrage in a wink and demand ministers lose their jobs for minor perceived slights, I am entitled to be outraged about this. I am not, but he is indefensible so stop trying to defend him.
