I was one of those people that sold TOL the day it dropped after they said they wouldn't sell Virgin. I noticed share price is getting punished. People have mentioned the price gets punished when oil goes up - that's fairly obvious, since its their main expense.
I personally can't see Virgin gaining a larger part of the market. I work for an organisation with over 15000 staff and due to sustainability & budgets we have reduced business flights from 300 to 100 per month, do you think other large companies will do the same? I work in IT and it was sickening to see management travel when you can use Cisco Video Conferencing. Hopefully the financial institutions don't punish TOL like they did to BNB! What are TOL's debt levels like?
