Hi treggs,
Is your stop loss - a guaranteed stop losses? Sometimes, I find that the stop losses occur at much lower price - I am using power etrade.
I am finding exit and target price difficult to manage because I am always looking at the big picture and if I believe the market still have room to move up - it is hard for me to exit. Many times, a good profit becomes breakeven when I let the shares have more room to work out its oversold situation or if I believe a certain pattern is taking place. Is this a bad strategy to adopt. At times, I think I would have done better to trade every day instead of building positions - ie active scalping.
I do admire those day traders who seem to be jump into positions and then exit accordingly.
Thanks
