    I like taking scalps.

    Of course, that means entering as close to the low as possible... and exiting near the tops.

    For me, it means doing nothing at market open. Just watch, observe, wait for the dust to settle.

    Daily candles or bars in most cases have a lower tail. That means prices drop from the open. So don't buy the open.

    Obviously you want to enter as close as possible to the day's low.... without being tricked or lulled into believing every likely low is THE low.

    It's tricky to pick and I don't always get it right.

    Then... don't be in a hurry to exit. Some fib projections,
    looking for likely resistance levels... and the afternoon rush.

    Candles also are likely to have upper tails...meaning stocks close below their day's high. So don't wait till 4 o'clock to get out --- the high's come and gone by then.
