The scam dude targets Companies that have been demutualised or where ppl have received a "free" entitlement. It is obvious that non-sophisticated investors are targeted with no knowledge of shares. They see the easy dollars on offer and they take them ignorant to the discount to the market price.
Also scam dude names his scam company to closely resemble that of the ASX or a stock exchange. Scam dude thus confuses the lay person into thinking its all "official" business.
The whole thing is a scam. No doubt about it. What needs to be done is to close the legal loopholes.
