Got a beautifully written and professional letter a few weeks ago (from the fines registry office) demanding $240.00 for a parking fine from 2016 and that my drivers license had been cancelled.................
In immediate panic.......................... I paid the fine.
I just assumed that it was from ex wife's activities...............
After a few days I decided to ring the relevant enforcement authorities and they had no record of any such fines or correspondence.............
Just a beautiful scam...............
Now I am retired completely, so if you guys know of any scams to pay for my booze habit it would be gratefully appreciated.
