I can definitely see substantial demand for this in space related activities. Space activities are significantly constrained by cost barriers. However, especially now with reusable boosters etc., utilising Scandium could certainly substantially cut costs and make space activities (such as travel, mining, exploration etc) more commercially viable.
I expect that with Trump and Musk in control of the US, we will see progress in this space leap four decades in just four short years.
