The large scale scandium market will look very different from the present "boutique" scandium market. The two things needed to ratchet up to an up-scaled scandium market are a reliable source of supply in needed quantities, and a lower cost. Both of these things are a few years away from manifestation. With a reliable supply priced somewhere between US$1000-1500/kg one could probably sell all the scandium they could dig up. The key event that will probably initiate a re-evaluation on the stock prices of scandium producers will be the first big contract for scandium, probably by either airbus or boeing. Maybe a year or two away, or maybe not even until someone actually has the stuff in a bag ready to ship. Being early is a good thing the way I see it, it gets you in on the bottom, but a lot of patience is needed.
