Very true, who else gets holiday loading, but it's also the very much the over valued AUD that's doing so much damage to Oz. economic sectors that employ many people.
The GFC is still very much with most of the world and will almost certainly hang around for a few more years, resulting in a continued dearth of good investment opportunities.
Oz. interest rates might sink so low that the current 3% return on property seems attractive, but sooner or later interest rates will (have to) climb, then the last thing one wants is a property rope around ones neck.
