we have been through the SFX situation before. You inherited shares and don't have much experience in the market. I feel bad that you should be shaken up by posters with no idea but one nasty agenda. SFX has enough money for another 12 months sure, maybe more. that's irrelevant though. long before SFX runs out of cash if they cannot find a partner the share price will drop and the cash burn will slow as the company shrinks and reconsiders.
SFX is a specularive junior developer looking for a difficult to find (at the right deal) $150M funding partner. As I have said often before, it all revolves around getting a deal in the next 3 or so months. it's a gamble. negotiations are going on right now but a deal is not a deal until it's signed right. I'm still confident a dwal will be done but a gamble is a gamble.
You knew this much back in December. It's not too late to sell some and take some risk off the table if bmwgirl and her crew are causing sleepless nights. investing in late stage developers looking for funding has always been a difficult and nerve wracking punt, more so than ever now it seems. If you can don't worry about trying to work it all out yourself. Read some of the research reports on the comapny website with a really good summary by experienced professionals. then decide what your personal risk profile and comfort level of holdings in SFX is and just switch off.
