You make a good point, ultimately it is Indonesia's sovereign right to let Ms Corby rot in jail for a bag of pot. After all she had it in her posssession. And ours is a free country, so right wing anti-drug crusaders can crow and gloat and say she deserves it, that is their right. But now we have an ex-diplomat who happens to be a Queenslander as our PM. What will he do I wonder? Will he put his Queensland pride above his hatred of drugs, will he give a bogan girl (with above average looks) from the Gold Coast a chance to serve out her sentence in Australia?
