The share registry is managed by Computershare which is an independent organisation that works in 20 countries and employs over 14,000 people. They are a very reputable organisation.

If it gives you a little more comfort, NBT knows exactly how many shares our members collectively hold and what their voting intention will be. If the final numbers look suspicious we will be all over it!
