It does look as though it will be defeated! The articles stating ANZ Nominees have 9.4% are wrong - as of december they had 9.4% of the ords and 17.7% of the prefs so in total they have 66 million shares out of a total of about 480 million which is 13.75% of the total shares.
I voted against it too. Looking forward to a nice rise of the prefs in the long term - who knows what will happen short term. There is an undisclosed buyer still sitting at $1.15 so they may not drop if that buyer is ANZ Nominees and they want to get as many as they can at $1.15.
