The other witnesses and documents being collected will be far more insightful in getting to the bottom of the matter, than the whistleblowers testimony,
The whistleblower was just the door opener for the investigation, the evidence will come from others.
"....so what happened to confronting your accuser?..."
I'm sure you are not that naive as to not know the difference between an inquiry and a trial, so why make meaningless statements that have no relevance to the actual process that is going on.
