All kids are different, though. My daughter is very linguistic, one son not at all, the other a bit. No point in forcing them to try to do what they can't.
They need to find their niche. Don't force round pegs into square holes. Success can be measured in other things than salaries or status.
Above all, DO NOT COMPETE WITH THE BEAST! You will lose. If you want to win in a like fashion, ride its coat tails. Or win totally by going in the other direction. But they won't teach your kids how to do that at school.
